ORGANIZATION

 

PURPOSE

To provide FREE legal services and community education to residents of Yuba and Sutter Counties who are 60 and over. Our priority is helping those seniors who are low-income or live alone or are over 75.

 

CLIENTS

Each year about 300 seniors are served by the Legal Center.

 

MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to promote seniors' self-sufficiency by enabling them to assert their legal rights, maintain financial independence, obtain health care, avoid abuse, ec.

 

Need help for a senior? We can tell you what services are available and how to link up with them. In addition, we can help fill out forms needed to get the services.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Yuba Sutter Legal Center welcomes Attorneys, Retired Attorney and individuals who wish to donate their time and services to help our clients with their legal matters. By volunteering to assist our clients your legal work has a multiplier effect of positively impacting the communities for our seniors.
